Case intro
The Tijssen Football Foundation is dedicated to creating opportunities for children through football, using the sport as a way to inspire confidence, community, and hope. During a special initiative in Medellín, Colombia, the foundation organised a day focused on bringing football, encouragement, and positive experiences to local children.
Stratos Studio joined the project to document the initiative through cinematic storytelling. The goal was not only to capture the football activities themselves, but also the atmosphere, emotions, and genuine human moments that define the foundation’s work.
By focusing on authentic interactions and real experiences, the project aims to create visual content that helps the foundation share its mission, inspire supporters, and highlight the impact that sport can have on communities around the world.

Challenges
The goal was to document genuine interactions between volunteers, coaches, and children without staging or interrupting the natural flow of the day.
Filming in an outdoor community setting meant adapting quickly to changing light conditions, movement on the field, and spontaneous moments.
Beyond capturing football activities, the focus was on conveying the deeper purpose of the foundation — showing how sport can create connection, confidence, and opportunity.
